| The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. It is a shame because rich people don't help the poor ones, since they don’t want to part with their “hard-earned” money. They lead an idle life, buying expensive things and unnecessary technical novelties, for example: expensive brand new cars, mansions and so on. But they don't think about the poor ones, the people in need. Poor people are starving and dying of hunger and struggle to survive, because they have no money to buy food and drugs that are so essential. There are a lot of illnesses as a result of which poor people die. Small children die early, because they are ill too. And rich people send their children to private schools. If only the rich would donate more, the poor ones would have a chance to grow up, develop and start a family. And there would be not so many human deaths.

| Global Warming is a dramatically urgent and serious problem. We don't need to wait for governments to find a solution for this problem: each individual can bring an important help adopting a more responsible lifestyle: starting from little, everyday things. It's the only reasonable way to save our planet, before it is too late.

His real name is Peter Hernandez. He changed his name to Bruno Mars. When he was a small child, his father gave him the nickname "Bruno"; the name "Mars" he gave himself for fun. In 1992 Bruno Mars played in the U.S. film comedy - "But not with my bride - Honeymoon in Vegas". Following the successful completion of high school in 2003 he moved to Los Angeles (California, USA), where he wanted to make a career in the music business. The first hit by Bruno Mars appeared in cooperation with BOB and was called "Nothing On You". Other singles released by Bruno Mars are: "Grenade" and "Just The Way You Are". Each of them was No.1 in the U.S. charts. Nowadays Bruno Mars is a very popular young singer, who has achieved a lot in his career. My favourite song ist “Grenade”.
And here ist the Lyrics of Grenade
Easy come, easy go, that's just how you live Oh, take, take, take it all but you never give Should've known you was trouble from the first kiss Had your eyes wide open, why were they open?
Gave you all I had and you tossed it in the trash You tossed it in the trash, you did To give me all your love is all I ever asked 'Cause what you don't understand is
I'd catch a grenade for ya Throw my hand on a blade for ya I'd jump in front of a train for ya You know I'd do anything for ya
I would go through all this pain Take a bullet straight through my brain Yes, I would die for you, baby But you won't do the same No, no, no, no
Black, black, black and blue, beat me 'til I'm numb Tell the devil I said, hey, when you get back to where you're from Mad women, bad women, that's just what you are, yeah You'll smile in my face then rip the brakes out my car
Gave you all I had and you tossed it in the trash You tossed it in the trash, yes, you did To give me all your love is all I ever asked 'Cause what you don't understand is
I'd catch a grenade for ya Throw my hand on a blade for ya I'd jump in front of a train for ya You know I'd do anything for ya
I would go through all this pain Take a bullet straight through my brain Yes, I would die for ya, baby But you won't do the same
If my body was on fire Ooh, you'd watch me burn down in flames You said you loved me, you're a liar 'Cause you never, ever, ever did, baby
But darling, I'd still catch a grenade for ya Throw my hand on a blade for ya I'd jump in front of a train for ya You know I'd do anything for ya
I would go through all this pain Take a bullet straight through my brain Yes, I would die for you, baby But you won't do the same
No, you won't do the same You wouldn't do the same Ooh, you never do the same No, no, no, no

| A WORLD PROBLEM: Global warming (Part 1 – Introduction) Global warming is the theory that the gases CO2, methane, water smoke and ozone are collecting in the Earth’s atmosphere and are heating the planet. This effect, which is mostly caused by the relation of CO2, is also called the Greenhouse Effect. CO2 is released by the burning of fossil fuels, which are essential for human beings – at least nowadays. There are many theories about the global warming, but only one is correct: Global temperatures have risen about 1°C since the Industrial Revolution in the mid 1800s. Compared to climate changes in Earth’s history this is scary fast. And scientists found out that climate changes have always been linked with CO2 emissions, which are a world problem in the 21st century. So many oil companies point to the ice age, saying natural climate changes can happen. In fact, the increasing of global heating is caused by the humans. In the last years, scientists found out that the level of flood water, rising sea and rain- and snowfall are going up and it is known that a temperature rise between 1 and 3 °C would cause a rise of the sea level between 15 and 120 cm, which can happen in the next 100 years. Furthermore any area 2 m above sea will be at risk in only 30 years’ time. This would mean that lots of important cities like New York, Boston, Miami and Washington DC could be soon underwater. But the effects are even bigger. Hundreds of millions of dollars would be necessary to develop unnatural beaches to save human live and tourism areas. The Everglades in Florida are on risk just as the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Russia and Canada would be endangered by forest fires and pest attacks because of their CO2 –trapping forests. And while lots of endangered animals would die out, the Mosquitoes would spread through the expanding tropical climate and spread malaria and yellow fever. In fact a climate change would cause in a change for human life too, as we know it. The major problem is the power stations, which are responsible for 33% of total greenhouse gases emissions. So it is important to assure the governments worldwide to enact environmental laws and to get companies to use renewable energy sources. There are many groups fighting for that worldwide, like Greenpeace, the WWF and Friends of the Earth. But last but not least the important point is our everyday actions. Which means for example that our daily transportation produce about 34% of the CO2, so it would be much better to take a bike to work or to school, or at least to use public transportation. Also companies are working for pro-environment products. So Toyota and Mercedes Benz already produce zero-emission cars, and even energy-saving lamps are sold. So, by fighting for a climate change by using those and lots of more methods you will know that you did the best to make the world a better place in some years’ time.
Causes of the increase of greenhouse gases Fossil fuels As already pointed out, the highest increase of CO2 emissions we get by burning of fossil fuels which has the largest effect on a global warming. The reason is that we get a demand by each production for more and more fossil fuels. Another reason is that a lot of companies build up their factories in developing countries because of the environmental conditions aren’t so strong and they have not to spend a lot of savings in environmental conditions such as filters and so on.
Deforestation Another reason is the deforestation in many developing countries, because of their need to have more space for their growing population. One solution is the wood cutting down so there is more room for humans, animals and farming. Unfortunately this have two effects on by cutting down of wood and burning the CO2 emission is increasing and second trees and plants reduce the CO2 emission level but only existing woods and not the destroyed one.
Landfill Global methane emissions from landfill are approximately on a level between 30 and 70 million tons each year. Most of this landfill methane currently comes from developing countries, where the level of rubbish is very high. According to that scientists expect a climate change on an increased level of 1,5°C till 4,5°C. It is very difficult to get real values because of it depends on the industrial development, on reducing methane emissions, as well as on the developing countries commitments to support an reduction of greenhouse gases.Added (10.06.2012, 20:18) --------------------------------------------- A WORLD PROBLEM: Global warming (Part 2 – Impact and Actions)
Impact • A rise of sea levels unavoidable occurs. At the moment rises of about 3-4 cm each 10 years are expected, but they depend on the speed of ice melt. Especially little islands and coastal areas will be affected by flooding. • Oceans will take much more CO2 because of the global warming. • Glaciers of the Alps and other high mountains will disappear, as well as ice melt. • Hot spell will be more intensive and arise also in regions of Central Europe. • Rains will be reduced, especially in summer and new deserts will arise and existing will increase. • Water supply at all and especially in dry regions will become more difficult. Concrete examples of possible impact
Winners: India: Today most parts of the continent are steppe and they get rain in time of the monsoon only. It is possible that till 2100 India will be get more rain as before and so they will have more farming areas and a better climate. Russia and Mongolia: Especially in North Asia it is too cold in order to have a good farming culture. But depending on the warming climate the will get better conditions for farming.
Losers:
Mediterranean countries: In Spain, Italy, Tunisia and other close countries the steppe will spread and the farming areas especially for olives, date palms and wine will be reduced. In consequence they will get more forest fires and steppe areas.
Brasilia: Also the east of Brasilia will get more steppes and the drinking water supply will becomes to a problem too.
The mid-west: At the moment they have big areas of wheat corn and can ensure the water supply. But with more hot climate they will get problems with the water supply and farming areas will become to steppes.
What can I do? 1. Re-cycle glass bottles, newspapers and magazines. Save them and transfer them to local re-cycling centers. 2. Re-use plastic shopping bags and if possible use paper bags. 3. Have a compost heap if it is possible. 4. Reduce your paper use and use more electronically documentation, as well use paper on both sides if needed. 5. Give unwanted gifts and clothes to a charity shop. 6. Reduce your energy needs which means for example use public transportation instead of your own car, do not use standby of your TV or radio, use energy saving lamps, switch of lights when you're not in the room, etc. 7. Reduce your water needs which means for example don't spend to much time for a shower, use your rain water for the plants 8. Eat less meat to reduce the meat production

I like Rupert Grint very much because he has a funny character. He is my favourite actor most peculiar in harry potter. He comes across very likeable. He has made something of his life and he takes no drugs like other stars.

People in different countries of the world speak English. This is because once Britain had colonies in many parts of the world; and during the 19th century, English was spoken in all of these colonies. In India and in some parts of Africa English became an official language at that time. In those years knowing English meant that people of different nations could communicate. For example, when business people from China and Ghana meet in Berlin today they speak English. Just like when teenagers from Italy and Sweden talk about their favorite styles of music in the Internet.
