| Pro-globalization +Globalization brings opportunities. Due to the continuous growth of the global economy, many countries take advantage of globalization and benefit from. International trade can improve economic performance by division of labor and thus increase the prosperity of the country. +Countries and regions have to export more opportunities by globalization its products. This promotes the development of the economy, even in poor countries. Then the society will benefit in the form of increased prosperity. Not only from an economic perspective, the positive aspects of globalization. +This process enables communication with the world. Different countries build relationships and make contacts. A positive impact of international trade and the purchase of exotic fruits, coffee or tea from around the world to see.
Contra globalization -However, globalization may be interpreted not only positive. Critics say the reduction of wages in developed countries. By increasing procurement in low-wage countries, the wages in the developed countries to adapt to the turnover. All production areas are given to low-wage countries. This is another reason that it is including in Germany led to high unemployment. Many countries want to benefit from globalization. -The competition is so pronounced that small firms in poor countries have little chance of survival. In an intact market is a fair competition. Globalization is a balance of conflicts in terms of labor and capital for the benefit of not. Not to overlook the negative impact on the environment. By globalization must be pushed masses of goods around the globe. In addition, companies are increasingly due to high environmental standards in Europe is shifting to other countries.
That's from me!

| When discussing the topic of globalization the fact that this phenomena can`t be stopped or made reversable is widely overseen. The only alternative is to find ways of shaping globalization by minimizing it`s disadvantages and inceasing it`s benefits. When thinking about what the advantages or disadvantages are one should of course consider who is effected by these benefits or drawbacks. It depends on the point of viewe if you look at a certain part of globalization as being good or not so good at all. A few years ago a large part of the people living in Spain, Portugal and Greece were thinking that globalization would bring them near to paradise. But nowadays they are experiencing a growth of poverty. Of course there groups of people, firms, companies and banks who are still profitiny from globalization in those countries. Right now there are people who are organinziny demostrations in the the town I live in (Frankfurt am Main) to point out these facts. I myself realize that I don`t know enough yet to really say what could and should be done to make globalization a win win situation for all the countries and their population.

| Community of different countries
pros: - You donate to poor people for example food and clothes ( you help them); - Entertainment, for example football (charity) tournaments ( world championship); - When countries have good (friendly) relationships - then there is no war, and no conflicts take place; - countries can learn the culture of other countries;
cons: - when you help other countries, for example you give them money, then you ‘lose’ money yourself - when the countries don't like each other, then every country knows it and the country becomes unpopular (or acquires a bad reputation/falls into disrepute)

| EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR !
26.02.1984: Emmanuel Adebayor was born in Lomé, Togo. Like Nwanko Kanu, Emmanuel is a big, strong forward who loves scoring goals.
1999: He arrived in Europe at the age of 15. As a young boy, Emmanuel had played football on the streets of his home town in Togo, West Africa. His hero had been another Arsenal player from Africa, Nwanko Kanu.
2003: Emmanuel had played in France, for Monaco. He was involved in a serious car crash.
2006: He arrived to Arsenal, when manager Arséne Wenger bought him for seven million pounds. He played for Togo in the World Cup, in Germany, and often returns to his home town, Lomé, to visit schools and talk to young people.
2007: During his first 130 games for Arsenal he scored 58 goals, and became very popular with fans at the club's new stadium in North London. But in February 2007, during a match against Chelsea, Emmanuel was sent off. The referee said that Emmanuel had tried to punch another player. He argued with the referee and was later given a £7,500.
2009: Emmanuel moved to Manchester City.
Unfortunately, not corrected by my partner !!!

| Globalisation facts
1. Clothes and other goods made in countries like China are often very cheap. 2. People working in factories in those countries are often paid very little money. 3. Some clothes worn by teenagers in Europe ans the US may evenhave been by children. 4. Ships carrying thousands of containers bring the goods to richers countries in the west. 5. Waste produced in Europe and the US is often taken back to China on the same ships for recycling. 6. Not all customers buying clothers or electrical goods realize the journey that their new shirt or MP3 player has made. 7. But a number of books written in the last few years have talked about his aspect of globalisation.

| we have read in English lesson about a football player. His name is Emmanuel. (p.83 ex: 3- A good example?)
Pros: -he has his wish fulfilled -now he is famous -he has shown that one can do anything if you really want
Cons: -he has lied to his parents saying that he went to school, instead he went to play football -it could be gone wrong
In my opinion he is a good example, because he shows that you can create anything if you really want. Despite everything, I think that he should first finish school before pursuing his "dream".

| I would like to say something about FAIRTRADE a label in the third World.
Our homework was to think either FAIRTRADE chocolate is a good idea ? Why/ Why not ?
I think FAIRETRADE chocolate is a good idea, because in Afrika many people don't have a good job, so FAIRTRADE allows people to work in a good label with good support and friendly people. And of course the chocolate will taste much better wehn happy people makes them.
Not correctet![color=red]Added (23.05.2012, 22:01) --------------------------------------------- sorry i mean payment instead of support

| Negative effects of globalization on culture
-multinational corporations promote the same product all over the world, encouraging a similar lifestyle throughout the world (“Cola-Colinization”) -“cultural imperialism”= Western Ideals are established as universal ways and traditions -U.S. exerts promotes its values and habits through popular culture and the news media ("Americanization”) -counties’ traditional foods lost to big fast food chains -traditional clothing lost to big clothing brands

| Aliens, do they exist? Unfortunately nobody knows the truth, since every time we get a clue to this mystery, the government cooperating with the press tries to hide it or cover it from the society. What I can say is, that I believe in the existence of UFOs, and I’m sure that they live on other planets making occasional visits on the Earth. And it’s not without a reason that we have created an image of them: small beings with big heads and big eyes, and with rather a bony complexion. Of course, this is an approximate description but still it is better than nothing. Somebody might say that it is ridiculous or naïve to believe in what one has never seen, but there are millions of people who have never seen the God but nevertheless believe in him…

| Some examples of globalisation are things like: blending of cultures, companies outsourcing, and technology. These things happen because of countries competing and/or working together to get more money (that's what most people want). Most people think it's a good thing, but some think it's bad. Poorer or underdeveloped countries get left behind in many ways because they can't afford things like new technologies that North American's can afford. China opening to the free market had a big impact on everyone. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Just look at it this way, anything that's good for you, isn't going to be good for everyone else. Someone is going to be left behind or left out along the way.
